My mother's step sister made her a pillow a few years back that says.....

Don't tell God how big your storm is...
        Tell the storm how big your God is.

These are words of wisdom we should all remember when storms arise in our lives. And they will arise.

In each passing storm that pops up in your life, remember God is so much bigger than it is. Leave all your cares with Him.

Middle Grade Novel Update...

I've been working on a middle grade novel for some time now, but with my newest Chrildren's Bible Study Series I had put the novel on the back burner. Today, I finished revising chapters 1 through 3 and wrote chapter 4. With the summaries for chapters 5 through 10 finished, I will be trudging ahead steadily now. Although still in draft form, I am looking forward to developing the mystery that lies ahead for the two main characters.

Just wanted to share that my newest book...Children's Bible Study: Abraham...is now available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.



Christian children's Bible study that follows the King James Version of the Bible. Lessons are broken down into easy to read daily studies. Verses are listed at the top of each lesson for children to read God's Word for themselves. Following each lesson, there are several questions for the children to answer to help make sure they understand what they are reading. A listing of special terms and definitions are listed near the end of the book for harder to understand biblical words.

Okay, if you have never heard the group 'Mercy Me' before you are in for a treat. Their music may not be for everyone, but I believe this song, 'I Can Only Imagine', will persuade any Christian or non-Christian in favor of most of their music. The Afters 'Light Up the Sky' Video

'Light Up the Sky' is one of my favorite songs right now. My kids are 13 and 7 and they go nuts when it comes on the radio. We have to turn it up and sing along. We always imagine God in the sky lighting it up, but the band had a different take on lighting up the sky which you will see in this video.

I also wanted to tell you a story of a real miracle...

     One night, my kids and I were driving home from camping and this 'The Afters' song was on the radio. Just as we came around a curve, a Jeep came across the yellow line into our lane. I had braced myself for the impact that should have come. Instead, I felt our Expedition bump over a few feet to the right. Needless to say, there was no impact. Just the clear singing from the radio.....'light, light, light up the sky to show me...You are with me.' I believe with all my heart God wasn't ready for us in heaven just yet and seen fit to move us to the right a few feet. God is still in the miracle business! Praise God for all his goodness.
