Mercy Me....What a voice....

Okay, if you have never heard the group 'Mercy Me' before you are in for a treat. Their music may not be for everyone, but I believe this song, 'I Can Only Imagine', will persuade any Christian or non-Christian in favor of most of their music. Take a look at the video and then decide for yourself. If you already love Mercy Me, join the crowd and listen to one of the songs that made them a success!

When listening to this video, close your eyes and lay your head down on your desk or look up into the heavens. I will be surprised if you can keep the tears from rolling or your chest from tightening up when the emotional part of you begins to take over. Enjoy the words of this song the way the band intended and find a new sense of meeting God like you had never imagined before.

God's Word... Not Just a Book

I keep my Bible (opened) by my bed at all times because there is no protection better, aside from God Himself, to have closeby. God's Word is powerful. Keep that in mind if you are feeling scared, depressed, sick, lonely, or even the happiest you've ever been. Try it...place your opened Bible by your bed before you close your eyes at night and see if you can feel what I mean.

As for what it brings me...well, it keeps me sane and gives me piece-of-mind along with the courage I need in my everyday life and that is when I am not reading it! Just knowing it is within reach gives me a sense of contentment.

The words inside give me so much more.... Thank you, God, for giving us not just a book, but your Word.
