Thanks for visiting my Christian Blog - Christ Is All I Need!

I started this Christian blog as a place just for me to add things going on in my life, post what I was doing, and add anything I felt like adding. Over time, I changed the name several times until I settled on 'Christ Is All I Need' which I felt God was on board with too.

About me personally...

I am married with two children - a son and a daughter. We were not expecting the second child, but thankfully, God knew what He was doing as my son has taught us many things since he has been born (2004). My daughter is now in her teenage years (2012). It's funny...I see myself in many things she says and does, but she is her own person that is different than any other person I know at the same time.

Both my children have asked Jesus to be their Savior which I credit to being raised in church since they came into this world and to my parents who raised me in church. As a mom, I try to put God in our lives daily and in every situation we encounter. I feel the best way to teach them about God is to raise them always thinking of God, talking with God, looking to God, searching for ways to become closer to God, and telling others about God.

Being a parent is extremely hard. Some people may feel parenting is easy and I know some parents like that but, for me, I pray every day that God leads them, guides them, sends them Christian spouses (always pray for this for your children!), and has His will in their lives.

While my husband and I don't see eye-to-eye on every aspect of parenting, we do agree that God should be the most important thing in their lives. God has given us our children for only a little while and while we have them, we should do all we can to guide them back toward our Heavenly Father.
