God's Word... Not Just a Book

I keep my Bible (opened) by my bed at all times because there is no protection better, aside from God Himself, to have closeby. God's Word is powerful. Keep that in mind if you are feeling scared, depressed, sick, lonely, or even the happiest you've ever been. Try it...place your opened Bible by your bed before you close your eyes at night and see if you can feel what I mean.

As for what it brings me...well, it keeps me sane and gives me piece-of-mind along with the courage I need in my everyday life and that is when I am not reading it! Just knowing it is within reach gives me a sense of contentment.

The words inside give me so much more.... Thank you, God, for giving us not just a book, but your Word.
