Pray without ceasing... 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV

Many people believe you must stop, find a quiet place, get down on your knees, and bow your head before you can pray. Not true.

This verse states that we should 'pray without ceasing'. When you are driving down the road, talk to God aloud or in your thoughts. This can be done no matter where you are such as: out for a run or walk, in the shower, watching your kids at soccer, at your work desk, fixing dinner, cutting hair, doing nails, grocery shopping, and so on.

Throughout your day, keep God in your thoughts at all times and speak with Him. He is always there. It is us that tend to wander away from Him.

Aaron's Rod: KJV

Penulis : A. James on Friday, July 22, 2011 | 11:38 AM

Friday, July 22, 2011

Aaron was Moses' brother who helped Moses when he was sent to the Pharaoh by the Lord. Aaron's rod was used to show the Pharaoh that God was the children of Israel's one true God. When the time came, Aaron threw down his rod in the sight of the Pharaoh and it turned into a snake. Yes, the magicians threw their rods down too, but it was the snake from Aaron's rod who swallowed up the others symbolizing God is mightier. To read about this go to Exodus 7:8-13.
This same rod was used later to bring about the first three plagues and it was used to bring the water from the rock at Horeb and the rock at Kadesh. Read about the rocks springing forth water in Exodus 17 and Numbers 20.
In Numbers chapter 17, the Bible tells us that the head of each tribe of Israel put his name on a rod to decide who would come before God as priests in the tabernacle. When the rods were checked the next morning, Aaron's rod had blossomed and bore almonds. This was God's sign that Aaron's house would serve in the tabernacle. In Hebrews chapter 9 verse 4, it tells us that Aaron's rod was placed in the ark of the covenant.

Psalm 100

1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Praise God!

The Bible tells us that...
