Unity of the Church

Psalm 133:1 KJV
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.

Church families come together to worship God under one roof on Sunday mornings. Setting in the pews 'amening' here and there when the preacher says something they like. Smiling and singing along with other members of the church.

Once the service is over, many in the congregation rush out the door back into their everyday lives without even stopping to ask others members how they are doing or if they have had a good week. Other times, people in the church fight amongst themselves causing tension in the church.

Without unity in the church, how can one expect to spread God's Word to others the way it needs to be spread? Coming together as one church family will have a greater impact on not only those you are witnessing to but individual church members too.

Feeling like part of a family will help the church grow stronger. Having unity in the church will ensure that God can use the church the way He intended.

And one last thing....church meets more than on Sunday mornings. How about the other times during the week that you miss out on hearing God's Word and spending time with your church family? After all, Jesus died for you shouldn't you take a few extra hours a week to show Him how much He means to you?

Psalm 100

1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Praise God!
